Notice: Youth / Adult Policy 

 

To attend OA events ALL attendees must have a copy of their BSA Annual Health and Medical Record (Parts A and B) with them or they can't stay at the event.

 

Don't depend on others; YOU'RE responsible and must have a copy with you.

 

Candidate Check-In time is no earlier than 5:30 PM and no later than 7:30 PM Friday evening (NO SATURDAY CHECK-IN)

Instructions for the Ordeal Registration

 

All participants (adult and youth) will be included in Covid screening.  There are two screening periods. 72 hours before arrival (Tuesday, August 17, 2021) and then again on Friday, August 20, 2021. Any participant with a temperature of 100° or more may not depart and must be left at home.

On (Tuesday, August 17, 2021), participants need record their temperature, and any signs of the following symptoms: fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea.  Record any close contact: Has anyone in your household been in Close contact with anyone with COVID 19,or suspected of having COVID 19, in the past 14 days?

 

Masks will be required at all times indoors and when unable to social distance outdoors

 

Along with the above form you MUST have a copy of your Yearly BSA Medical Exam, If you are already a member of the Order of the Arrow you must have your current membership dues paid.  If not then you can pay them online through the Lodge website or bring your dues to the ordeal.

 

When Registering for the ordeal there are several registration options.  Here is a clarification of those options:

    1. If you have recently been elected to the Order of the Arrow then you are considered a Candidate. The cost for the ordeal is $55 which covers the OA sash, OA Pocket flap, Handbook, National & Lodge dues through the end of the current year, food, etc.
  1. A Member is a person who has already gone through an ordeal.
  2. A Brotherhood Candidate is a Member who has completed their Ordeal more than 6 months ago.
  3. Deadlines will be adhered to as there are many planning steps to ensure that the Ordeal is executed well.
  4. If you submit your registration online if you choose to pay on-site then there will be an additional $5 fee added.
  5. Due to COVID compliance there is no on site registrations.
