Amangi Nacha Lodge, Order of the Arrow

We are the Nisenan Chapter of Amangi Nacha Lodge #47 of the Order of the Arrow. We are attached to the Pioneer Express District of the Golden Empire Council, Boy Scouts of America. We serve Arrowmen and their units in the communities of Antelope, Elverta, Natomas, North Highlands, Rio Linda, Carmichael, Arden-Arcade, parts of Sacramento, Citrus Heights, Fair Oaks, and Orangevale.

Chapter Meeting:

When: Second Thursday of every month at 7:00 p.m.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF CHAPTER OFFICERS

 CHAPTER CHIEF  

• Meets monthly with the chapter officers and advisers. 
• Attends all chapter meetings and events. 
• Runs chapter meetings and activities. 
• Supervises unit elections in the chapter. 
• Attends Camporee and supervises Camporee program.
• Represents the Chapter at monthly Lodge meeting (1st Sat. of each month). 
• Responsible to ensure all chapter assignments are completed. 
• Organizes a unit election team, and crossover ceremony team(s)al inductions and Brotherhood inductions, if so delegated by the lodge. 
• Attends all lodge events, including Takachsin, Lodge Dinner, Fellowships, Ordeals and Conclave. 

  VICE CHIEF - INDUCTIONS 

• Attends all chapter meetings and events. 
• Organizes election teams and implements unit elections.
• Attends Camporee and runs Call-Out ceremony.
• Attends the monthly Lodge meeting with the Chief (1st Sat. of each month). 
• Assists with event promotion and getting people to meetings. 
• Assists in planning meetings and chapter activities for the year. 
• Attends all lodge events, including Takachsin, Lodge Dinner, Fellowships, Ordeals and Conclave.
• Works closely with the Chapter Chief, Chapter Adviser, and the Lodge Vice Chief of Inductions and their Adviser.

VICE CHIEF - PROGRAM 

• Assists the chapter chief in administering the program of the chapter.
• Attends all chapter meetings and events. 
• Attends Camporee and runs the Camporee program and campfire.
• Keeps minutes at all meetings. 
• Keeps track of attendance at chapter events. 
• Attends the monthly Lodge meeting with the Chief (1st Sat. of each month). 
• Attends all lodge events, including Takachsin, Lodge Dinner, Fellowships, Ordeals and Conclave.
• Serves as the chapter chief when the chief is not present.
• Submits articles to Lodge newsletter
• Implements the chapter communication plan
